‘Positivity Tree’

A group of TYS and their Art teacher Ms O Leary have created a wonderful Positivity Tree for this year’s Cycle Against Suicide Student Leaders Congress which has as it’s theme ‘Together We Can’. The tree which will hang in a prominent place on our school corridor will be a permanent symbol of our school community’s commitment to promoting mental health awareness, wellbeing and help seeking behaviour.

Each class group will be responsible for writing the weekly positive message on the tree so making it a whole school activity.
Ciara Farrell TY2 was due to speak about our Positivity Tree to Ray D’Arcy on his RTE Radio 1 show on this Wednesday January 13th between 3 and 4.30pm, but unfortunatelyhas been cancelled. She may speak on another date so keep an eye on the website for any updates.

All TYs are attending the Cycle Against Suicide Student Leaders Congress in the RDS on this Thursday 14th. which promises to be a fantastic experience if previous years are anything to go by!
